Christmas at Hidden Lakes
Thank you so very much for all of your donations and support of the Grassroots Hidden Lakes Christmas event. The monetary, food pantry, hats, gloves
and coats donations were amazing! We had just enough coats, hats and gloves for the kiddos who came out that Saturday. Approximately 35 Hidden Lakes residents came to the Saturday, December 11th event between 1-3 PM; however, some families could not make it to the club house because of the
flooding that week, but Jason and Mariah kept the club house open until late evening so those families could get a hot meal, food pantry items and hats and gloves. We had as many volunteers as Hidden Lakes residents!
At the event, one 5th grade girl told Santa that all she wanted for Christmas was a job for her dad that could support her family with 4 children.
Thanks again for your support and prayers for the Hidden Lakes Community and our outreach to those who are lost, lonely and hurting.
We look forward to starting back up our clean up efforts in the spring.
God is on the move!
Depending on our fresh faith,
Gloria McNew
